For me, I have learnt that controlling emotions is futile.  Trying to numb out the tough emotions like sadness or angry by turning to my eating disorder symptoms, ends up causing more pain as I give up control.  Writing has always been a therapeutic outlet for me in recognizing and working through the emotions, thoughts and stress of life.  This blog has been a great resource for expressing myself and connecting with others.  

It continues to be a tough battle against E.D but I continue to make the healthy choices (for the most part).  When I can, I share my experiences, struggles, reflections and successes in challenging myself to be the best and healthiest that I can be.  

I'm always interested in hearing about other people's experiences, suggestions and opinions.  
So be sure to speak up.
