Home Video: Cancelled for Now

Favorite moment from last Friday: after dropping Chris off at his work site, pulling off the dirt road onto the paved one, I throw the truck into a perfect fishtail and speed off.  Chris was impressed and a little jealous that he hasn't been able to pull off a fishtail as awesome as the one I did.  It's too bad we couldn't have had that on video.

Unfortunately the video won't upload.  It's only  four minutes but maybe it's not good quality... oh well.  If there is anyone out there who knows how to solve the problem of "We're sorry, blogger came across a problem during the upload", please let me know.  The whole experience of standing in front of a camera was anxiety provoking.  I'm super shy and awkward when in front of the camera.

The house is great, we are still not unpacked but and I'm sure it will take about a month before we done.  There's also tons of things that need to be fixed.  We got the house at a very fair price which meant that it's a bit of a fixer-upper.  My hope is to document the renovations and designs for this blog.  Our goal is not to end up on the Home & Garden Network's show, "Disaster DIY", even if the host is super cute.  Chris and I are both pretty handy but we also procrastinate hard core.

The Move

It happened on Saturday.  Chris and I brought over the critters so that they wouldn't get too stressed out with all the commotion.  We ended up shopping a little bit before our family and friends came over to help us out.   We lucked out and got a TV stand for half off.  It's criminal how much they charge for those things.

There were a lot of people helping us move, so the it went fairly quick.... a regular move for us.  There was no fights, no major tension.

Momma C was great and cleaned all the kitchen stuff and put it away.  There's something calming about having the kitchen ready to use.  When we arrived at the house to unload, there was cold beer in the fridge and lasagna cooking.  Having family all gathered between the dinning and living room was really pleasant.

Well I'm going to sign off of this random, back & forth post.
