The morning started with a struggle to roll out of bed. As I gazed at myself in the mirror, the though of "shit, I look as horrible as I feel".
Aged. Tired. Grey. Greasy. Blah.
Maybe it's a cyclical thing... Depression. Maybe it's the rain.
I missed the 8:17 bus and the 8:22 was early, so I missed that one too. As I waited during those 11 minutes, the rain just poured down on me. The thought of getting an umbrella crossed my mind but I didn't care about getting wet. The external discomfort felt so minuscule.
The outfit of the day is an attempt to reflect the weather and emotions: gray & blue.
A little on the boring side. Tights are gray, from Joe; Blazer from Smart Set; Blouse & Skirt are "vintage" a.k.a. second hand. There's a few bloggers I follow because they have amazing fashion sense. Hopefully I can pick up a thing or two from them.
Last night I tried to Guestblog for my good friend, Krista. Her laptop is busted and she cannot keep up with her blogging community. Which sucks, really, she is an amazing blogger! My confession of the day will be that I love reading her blog first thing in the morning.
The attempt as guest-blogging was fun but also a huge shock as she has tons of followers and a large daily hit number. It's lucky for me to get in the double digits in a day. But Krista offers great advice to my pouting, which is: "to blog for you and not for other people or the amount of comments you get. When it becomes a popularity contest, then it's no longer fun." I try to tell myself of that every so often.
On a brighter note, I bought two cacti!! I do believe they are: cacti & succulent and a fairy castle with strawberry flower. Or I could be totally wrong. To make sure these two don't die, I'll have to do some research. Unless there's someone out there who knows how to take care of these things.

For cacti you do ... nothing!! Some sun and watering once a week and they'll be fine.
By Joe, do you mean Joe Fresh? If so, how are they? I want to buy some there because they're cheap but hesitant if they're bad quality. Love the cacti purchase, definitely low maintenance just some water every now and then. Although, don't listen to me I kill all plants just by looking at them!
It's the brand that they sell at the grocery store, real cheap, $5. I had the same concern but I'm always ripping hols through my stockings. These ones lasted 10+ hours of wear, no rips, only some of those rolly-balls on the toes, that's it.
i kill all plants even cactuses, actually i have this palm tree ive had for6 years i hardly water him forget for months or then at times over water like gallons, it has hardly any soil at all, my cat Meep occasionally pees in it and rips at the leaves yet it's still there, im amazed at this thing. I hate it i dont want it anymore but because of the hard life it has lived i simply dont have the heart to throw it out
so bsides thsi thing everything else DEAD
@Sweden Sounds like your palm tree is a tough one! I kill every plant I own, and Jake helps out by eating them too. If these poor cacti pass, I will have to try a palm tree
@aliciafashionista I checked and it is Joe Fresh for the tights.
