It's not complete, but I need some advice.
Is the message of this painting clear?
I want it to say be afraid of the evil bird.
Do I need to be more direct and put a stenciled warning "DANGER, eye gouging bird"?
If you haven't already assumed... it's supposed to be a Halloween joke (a somewhat lame one, but it make me giggle sketching & painting it out)... a sign to be hung on the door to Hercules's room. Some people, for whatever reason, are afraid of adorable birdies. So I want to be clever/witty/cheesy on warning people of what room the bird's in.
Really guests aren't in danger of our little Hercules. He is just about the sweetest bird out there.

Clever! I know some people who are afraid of birds, I think it's their poo that they are most afraid of.

hercules is ADORABLE!!!! i LOVE birds so much, i used to have budgies, the only thing is they dont sing pretty or talk they just squak loudly when they're bored, i would try to throw a towel on the cage to see if they think its night and shut up , or i would let them fly around and poop all over the place, then one day my rat got into the birds cage and killed one. Horrible huh? i didnt even know rats do that.,...
i used to have an amazon parrot. he was named Bugsy and he was very protective of me. he could bite really hard, though, and it always hurt my feelings when he would bite me. (also it hurt physcially) but i was very attached to him. someone stole him.
