Shopping is My Drug of Choice

The loss of my camera is super upsetting right now.  PLUS Chris has his work Holiday party coming up this Saturday and of course, I have no clue what to wear.  Instead of looking through my closet to find an outfit.. I kill time by torturing myself.  There's an amazing shopping site called Etsy, where people sell homemade & vintage items. *sigh*

Torture might be too strong & negative descriptor for the act of browsing the net for gorgeous items.  Then again, now is the time of year to save, so why do I look at items that I know I cannot afford?! I desperately want to take out my VISA, but have to restrain myself. *pout*

Instead of fighting the urge to buy, I'll share my most favorite stores & items from Etsy.

I was so happy when I found a Canadian store on Etsy.  The neat thing about this site is that it's very much an international form to shop. It's neat to look at designers from Asia or Europe and know that after these damn holidays, I can actually afford to shop across the world.

At Pretty Raccoon there are so many different and incredible designs printed onto great clothing items.  Each design matches the character of the dress or shirt that it's printed on.  I love the options of this store.

Not only does this store have amazing screen-printed items, there's so many lovely vintage pieces. The red plaid dress is by far my favorite! I just imagine myself wearing it to a picnic by the beach... OH, I miss summer.

Just love this scarf. I love all the screen-printed items!  The graphics are so strong, bold and flow perfectly with the clothing it's printed on.

My one and only purchase from Etsy is this beautiful Fairytales wig.  After posting about my dilemma on which of two wigs to buy, an overwhelming response confirmed my gut feeling. I cracked and bought the wig yesterday... but it was only one time.  I won't purchase anything else again until the holidays (everyone that know me knows that I'm lying through my teeth).
