My hatred for this rodent has started in childhood. Most people tend to forget my birthday thinking it's on February 2nd... On Groundhog Day. It was frustrating that people would confuse me with an obese lazy rodent that has season predicting abilities.
But I don't really want to talk about hogs. I want to tease y'all and send out my thanks.
The tease? It's nothing mean or naughty... but it is great. I'm really excited to make an announcement about my very first giveaway. I have been approached by CSN to provide my beautiful readers with a chance to win a lovely prize from one of their 200+ stores. They have everything from modern office furniture, to cookware, to lighting. More details are to come soon. Promise!
A huge thank you is required for my girls who guest blogged for me. I've been MIA for about a week. So there's lots to catch up on... but that will come in time. It was sweet of everyone to say yes to my plea for their help.
The very lovely and talented Krista from Oceanaria was the very first to guest-blog for me. It's fitting because she is the one who really pushed me into blogging. In her post she talked about her photography. Personally I think she was way too modest. Krista is super talented with her photography and art, that there is no way to describe her work. Stalking her archive blog posts & flickr account is a past time I adore doing early in the morning is a hot cup of coffee. This morning I woke up to a wonderful surprise post by Krista which is currently linked in my favorites. Thanks babe xo
My beautiful & intelligent sister dearest shared one of her many great stories. I love the way she writes and hearing all the different experiences she has had throughout her travels. It's really amazing that she has conquered her fear of birds. As a kid, it was great having my own personal side-kick in torturing my little sister. But I couldn't understand how anyone could be afraid of my sweet Froggy-bird. It's beyond brave for her to stick through the volunteering at the vulture sanctuary and conquering that bird-phobia. Thank you sister dearest & I am sorry for training Froggy to dive bomb you. I promise to not do that with Kasuku & Hercules.
Jaclyn from Petals for Gems has been my BFF since the first day of high school. Her post was beyond sweet. I hoped that she would talk about her talents in many different crafts or her give up some of her cooking secrets. But anytime someone wants to say good things about me, I'm not going to argue. Thank you babe for posting all of that love :) You are the bestest!
