The last few weeks have been a haze. I do this to myself by taking on way too much as one time, to prove something. But I never prove anything, really. It's not like people are impressed or think positive of me if they know all the of the things that I do. All that you get out of work overload is stress.
My course is over, and it feels like one weight has been lifted. There are a few more but I'm not ready to let go of too much at one time. Eventually I will take a much needed break to focus on more important things. But for now, it's just baby steps. The long weekend is here. Which I'll take to catch up as well as seeing loved ones. But before I go, I'll leave you with a Kasuku Story.
The destruction of a personal phone book
Denial of the act.
The getaway.
New target... Camera.
She's sneaky.
And cute.
Even though the destruction is clearly behind her, she's just too cute to not take pictures of.
Her preparation to attack the camera.
And then the attack... The End.
Note: She just chewed lighly on my poor iPhone before I took it away from her. There's something about phones, cameras and other noise making technology that Kasuku loves. As soon as theres a beep, click or whirl she wanders close to the source, just to chew on it a bit while mocking the noise. It's adorable until cords are chewed up and bits of plastic are out of the phone.

Awwww this story of Kasuku made my day! She is such a cutie! I love how you did the photo collage- very chic! I hope you have a relaxing long weekend- I tend to take too much on and I think that leads to burnout and sickness (which is why I've been lying in bed the past few days!) Take some time for yourself and enjoy some days off!
Ha! What a criminal mastermind: not only does she create mayhem, she has the charm to think she can get away with it. Great story.
Oh no! My pup does the same to documents (usually the important ones) sitting in a reachable area. On a more positive note, those pictures are really cool and I love the paint colour in that room. x
Thanks everyone for the comments. Kasuku and my other critters really do make my day. I must admit that I gave her that old phone book to tear up. African Greys are notorious for tearing apart anything they can... it's something you can't train out of them. So I opt for giving her more appropriate things instead of going against her nature.
RFLMAO....these pics are too funny. I love how she moves away from the scene of the crime like it never happened. haha
A Girl's Next Best Friend
