I adore Hello Kitty. It's a little disturbing that as a grown woman I still get joy in seeing this adorable anime character. She's just so darn cute, how can I ever grow out of her?! But I do have to thank my mother for talking me out of getting a Hello Kitty tattoo... at the age of 15/16 years old, I didn't have the best decision making skills.

This past weekend, my parents came to visit. There's a lot of things that I miss about living at home. One of them being spending girl time with my mom and sister. While my mom was down, I was able to try out some nail art... It only seemed fitting that I'd turned her french manicure into Hello Kitty tips.
The nail art came from a YouTuber, Cute Polish, who I think totally earns her name for adorable nail polish ideas. Poor Chris has been forced to watch a more than a few videos that had got gasps of cuteness from me.

Adorable!!! I still love Hello Kitty too. Working at the Sanrio store in the mall was actually my first job. I was 18 and still obsessed with all the stuff and characters. We couldn't afford extra stuff like that when I was growing up, so when I was getting a paycheck and a discount, I went crazy and barely made any money. lol One of my favorite parts of the job besides buying things was painting the grab bags. Those nails are super cute.
